Shelby's Senior Pics

Shelby is my husband Robbie's cousin, and therefore my cousin.  I love being a new edition to their wonderful family!  I was beyond thrilled when she asked if I could take her Senior photos and make an announcement card for her graduation.  Her party is tomorrow night, and I can't wait!

Shelby is a sweetheart!  She's helped me on occasion with other photo shoots.

She graduated from Plano Senior High on Wednesday, June 11th.  She's a varsity cheerleader with country gal charm!  Her plans are to attend Aveda, where she'll study cosmetology.  Check out her prom dress... gorgeous!

Congratulations, cuz!  I wish you all of the best in your future endeavors.

The Carroll Family

Speaking of Los Rios Country Club...

Remember a wedding I did there last August?  You know, the one with the adorable ring bearer and awesome wedding party?  Well they called me again to take their family photos and I couldn't resist!  I absolutely love this family!

You can just see their love for each other in every photo.  So beautiful!  Autumn is April's daughter, Sean is Chris's son, and Matthew is their son together.  Sean just graduated high school... congrats to the grad!

Autumn was loving the hiking trails at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano.  And Matthew's new favorite word was "SURPRISE!"  What a doll.

Thank you, Carroll family for always putting a smile on this photographer's face.

Photos with Ashley, Dillon, and Blossom Rose

Last week I had the pleasure of taking photos for my florist friend, Ashley. Her business, The Shabby Rose, is based in McKinney, TX and she is amazing! Her and her boyfriend’s new puppy, appropriately named Blossom Rose, is The Shabby Rose’s new mascot.

This was one of the most fun photo shoots I have done!  Ashley loves vintage and shabby-chic things just as much as I do.  What better place to showcase her stuff than Arbor Hills Nature Reserve in Plano?  Her and her boyfriend, Dillon, are so cute together too.  I love seeing this amount of happiness on her face.  It’s adorable.

Fun fact: Blossom Rose was adopted from a Boxer rescue.  I think she found a great home!

Thanks, Ashley, for letting me a part of your lovely family.  I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!  Check out The Shabby Rose.

Bridal Portraits with Stephanie

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of taking some bridal portraits for my future sister-in-law, Stephanie Malik.  We decided to go back to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, where we did her engagement pictures, because it’s so beautiful out there.

Stephanie was a champ.  Even though it was one of the hottest days, she didn’t complain once.  Then again, she’s getting married on July 13th so I guess it was good practice!

Fun fact: Although Stephanie is originally from California, she’s really a Texas girl at heart.  She loves Mexican food, country music, and her cowboy boots!

Congratulations, Stephanie!  I’m so excited for you and Chad.  You make one beautiful bride!
